A great home-style kitchen. Price performance are excellent. Please always register. Especially when the kitchen is about to close. Sometimes I had to go home hungry from Katenberg. :-)

Typically Sauerland top class, friendly and attentive service, top marks for food, ambience It may be that one or the other reviewer was here at the wrong time or was not wearing the right glasses! Yesterday the inn presented itself in a typical Sauerland top condition. I can't say anything about the overnight facilities, the restaurant was rated in the 5 star category in terms of service, quality of the food and drinks, compliance with the Corona regulations and the clean / neat ambience. The opening times given here are not correct at all. Mon and Tue are actually closed, otherwise all opening times are at the usual time frames, but afternoon rest and evenings not "until the dolls"!

A cozy, beautiful place in the summer garden. The schnitzel campaign was delicious, varied and something different. The service was unfortunately not as friendly as you would expect in a professionally run restaurant.

Super nice nice old house from 1780. Well-kept, clean, everything you need. A country inn as it should be with a super nice friendly staff. When the chef prepares the dishes in the kitchen, you can look forward to eating 🥰 Rarely stayed somewhere better or eaten for a very fair price. 👍🏼🤙🏼

We have been there again, on sunday it is a bit hectic, since we liked the Saturday lunch better. No matter what you order, it is always a complete menu. Elsewhere the bad habit tears "and this extra and that".

Have visited the inn on a Wednesday for "Schnitzelei". The price-performance ratio is fair, the quality of the food and drinks offered is as expected and "fits". A modernization, as it was already very successfully started in the toilets, would do the whole inn good. At presentation and service altogether still "air up". Overall, it was a great evening.
